Pre-Schedule Your Time!
The new school year is a great time to create new schedules and habits for yourself and/or your children. One way to make sure you get in the music practice you want in your life is to schedule it in. As you create weekly schedules with activities and events, create specific times for music practice too. If it’s on the calendar, just like soccer practice, it’s much more likely to be done consistently. And, as one of my favorite music professors liked to tell us, consistent work over times equals great results!
